SuccessAbility’s roots go back to the early 1990s at Stanford University. A group at the Center for the Study of Language and Information where attempting to develop voice recognition products and formed fledgling company called Audion. After an unsuccessful raise of capital, Voice Solutions was formed to resell voice dictation products, perform assessments, and provide installation/setup services. Over the next twenty years, it grew into a successful adaptive technology company and was sold in 2018. The acquisition allowed the formation of SuccessAbility, which now specializes on the services side on the business.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to assistive technology. With a background ranging from technology to consumer products and solution implementation, John takes a holistic view of the consumer and his/her context.
We at SuccessAbility remain committed to innovation. We research the newest technologies and attend industry events to stay on top of the latest accessibility products and services. With a growing team, we plan to open up more offices and increase coverage. Services have also been extended, and many clients request follow-up services: installation, set-up, testing and training.
